| 1. Stamp three Snowmen on white cardstock in black ink and Shape Shifting them by deliberately distorting the image on the acrylic block to create a tall skinny dad, a normal sized mom, and a short, pudgy child. The child was created by bending the bottom of the snowman shape up into his body and covering the resulting “legs” with the snow bank.
2. Stamp a top hat, a knit cap, two scarves and one pair of mittens on white cardstock.
3. Watercolor all snowmen and accessories. Apply glitter with glue pen. Cut out.
4. Tear one long edge of two 12” X 5 ¾” pieces of Bluebell card stock. Sponge clouds on the blue paper with white ink.
5. Break the fibers of the blue paper by rubbing it across the edge of a table to make it curve around pail more easily.
6. Glue blue background around gallon pail with Zip Dry, trimming as necessary.
7. Tear one long edge of 4- 2” X 11” pieces of white card stock to resemble snowbanks. Apply glitter along torn edge with glue pen.
8. Repeat steps 5-6 with white card stock to attach “snow” to pail. Slide “dad” and “child” snowman behind both white strips. Slide “mom” between strips.
9. Glue all accessories to snowmen.
10. Cover pail lid with a 5 3/8” circle of bluebell card stock if desired. |
