Directions

This special card was made without the concern for putting it in an envelope. If you are starting with an envelope size, you may want to work down from there, cutting your background card first.

1. Stamp desired scene on white paper beginning with flower pots. Use colored inks and layer images without masking.
   
2. Stamp flower stems and grass in Olive pastel ink.
3. Stamp Flowers in Rouge and Lipstick ink.
4. Stamp large flower pot, snail and turtle in Sienna ink.
5. Stamp other pots in Amber Clay ink.
   
6. Use colored pencils to add shading and create a sky effect.
   
7. Mount completed scene on black card stock 1/4" larger than white panel.
   
8. Mount layered panels on card base.
   
9. Stamp greeting in black and flowers in Rouge on a scrap of white card stock.
10. Punch greeting panel with oval scalloped punch.
    
11. Layer greeting panel on larger scalloped oval of blue card stock.
12. Fold 8" of ribbon in half and place behind punched scallops. Attach to card with dimensional adhesive.
