Easter Eggs by Louise Healy

INSTRUCTIONS

Fold a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of light green cardstock in half to form an A2 top-fold card.
Tape the stencil to a piece of 2 1/2" x 4" white Multi Media cardstock with removable tape.
Paste emboss the stencil with Glossy White Embossing Paste using a Palette Knife and Paste Spreader, remove stencil and place in water for cleaning.
Use an angled cut straw to sprinkle small amounts of embossing powders on the wet paste, by using small amounts at a time you won't waste powders, get all the colors on then tap off extra powders (you can save this into another container for a "mixed" look on another project, or discard).
Gently heat the embossing powders with a heat tool, try not to bubble the paste too much, or wait for the paste to dry, then heat the powders.
Build several layers of pastel cardstocks in coordinating colors to mat the Easter Eggs on making each mat 1/4" larger each direction from the last.
Adhere the layers together with double sided tape and add to the front of the card.
Attach a small May Arts Ribbon bow to the base of the eggs with a Glue Dot or two.
