Happy Valentine's Day Flourish by Louise Healy

INSTRUCTIONS

  1.  Fold a 6" x 9 1/4" piece of Antique Linen cardstock in half to form an A6 card
  2.  Tape the Large Flourish stencil to a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of Natural cardstock and use stencil brushes to add color, first the Coral, wipe off stencil with a soft rage, move it slightly and stencil with the vintage photo in, wipe off the stencil,   move the stencil again and stencil with the peeled paint ink, rouge some of each color into the background
  3. Trim the flourish layer to 4" x 5 1/8", edge with the vintage photo, adhere to a 4 1/4" x 5 3/8" green mat 
  4.  Adhere the flourish layer to the front of the card, closer to the left side than the right 
  5. Tie a piece of May Arts sheer pink ribbon around the card front and tie a bow
  6. Tape the Happy Valentine's Day stencil to a 2 1/8" x 4" piece of Natural cardstock with removable tape 
  7. Use a palette knife and paste spreader to apply Regular Embossing Paste over the stencil, remove the stencil and place in water for cleaning
  8. Sprinkle the wet paste with Rose Gold Embossing Enamel, tap off extra, heat with a heat tool 
  9. Rouge the green and coral inks into the background of the words
  10. Adhere words to a 2 3/8" x 4 1/4" green mat, mount to card front with foam tape
