Stylized Whale Media Board by Katy Leitch
Colour some book pages with spray inks and sprinkles of FX powder in tones of blue and green.
Draw wavy shapes at random and cut along the lines. Edge each piece with Dreamweaver Embossing Paste using a palette knife to simulate white water in the waves.
Cover a Tando board with book paper then add white gesso and some light areas of ink.
Colour (I used alcohol markers) and cut out the whale; also stamp and cut out a Laurel Burch sentiment.
Assemble as shown adding the whale behind the book page 'waves'. Use some silicone adhesive behind the whale’s tail to lift it slightly. Glue the sentiment in place.
