Fireworks by Alison Heikkila

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Tape the Fireworks stencil to Charcoal cardstock. Using the palette knife, pull out some Glossy White embossing paste and spread it over the top of the stencil. Using the Paste Spreader at a 45 degree angle, pull the spreader towards you slowly, spreading the paste over the stencil. Remove the stencil. While the paste is still wet, sprinkle the glitter over the fireworks, one at a time. Be careful and work from the outside to the inside, dumping each color back in to it's jar as you go. I used blue, red, crystal, and gold micro glitter, plus silver halo mix.
  2. Using Winter Lake cardstock, cut to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and fold in half to make the card base.
  3. Die cut the 2 1/4" x 1" Fitted Frame out of Mixed Media Paper and stamp your sentiment from the Happy Greetings set. Spray with Bahama Blue Fireworks! and let dry.
  4. Attach the sentiment and fireworks piece t the card base using Glue Dots. Them using a liquid adhesive, run a line across the top and bottom of the card, and sprinkle Royal Blue Glass Glitter on. Let dry.
