Faber-Castell PITT pens: Pink Madder Lake, Dark Chrome Yellow, May Green, Cobalt Green


  1. Trim the white card to A5 size. Create a background using CP475 Creative Palette Rectangles and a brayer, paints, ink refils, building blocks and the stencil.
  2. Using Cactus Green ink stamp the square pattern using the stamp included with your Creative Palette.
  3. Stamp Q212 PenPattern Flutter butterflies with Emerald City ink. Colour in using PITT pens and a water brush, leaving a large block of ‘white’ space. Add shading with the chalk pencil.
  4. Using paints and bottle caps stamps several circles in white, black and gold as shown and add shading with a chalk pencil.
  5. Using Tuxedo Black ink stamp SSC1205 Journal Lines Perfectly Clear™ Stamps in the ‘white’ space. Add finishing touches to the edges with NKCRS06 Cling Marks Set.

  1. Create a background using acrylic paints, CP475 Creative Palette Rectangles and MPW811 Mixed Media White Paper.
  2. Press paper partially onto the Creative Palette leaving some spaces white.
  3. Lay the stencil onto the Creative Palette and cover with the paper again, pressing gently to transfer the paint into the gaps.
  4. Lift the stencil off the CP. Lay it on  the page with the painty side down. Rub down to transfer the paint onto the paper.
  5. Allow to dry.
  6. Fill in any white spaces with distress inks.
  7. Stamp different feather images around the page. Stamp the sentiment in the middle.
  8. Add simple borders by swiping an edge of a plastic loyalty card with Emerald City ink and dragging parallel lines along the edges.
  9. Finish the page with random Soft Teal ink splatters.

  1. Fold a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inch Mixed Media White Paper in half to a finished size of 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 inch card base.
  2. Create a monoprint on the front of the card base with the quarter size rectangle in the Creative Palette Rectangles Kit and acrylic paint. The print used for this card was a second or third print. For more information see the Creative Palette Rectangles video, here.
  3. Create at least two more monoprints to use later.
  4. Stamp The Look in Tuxedo Black onto dry monoprint card base. Add color using more paint in hair and on lips.
  5. Stamp feathers from The Look set onto additional monoprints, cut out and adhere onto card base.
  6. Stamp Hope Sings sentiment with Tuxedo Black ink onto card base.

  1. Top fold 5 ½” X 11” teal cardstock to create 5 ½” square card.
  2. Apply dabs of acrylic paints to Creative Palette. Spray with water to create movement.
  3. Place screen on surface, and set face up on scrap paper. Place a panel of white cardstock over the top to transfer the paint and the pattern. Repeat with Bird Gears stamp and second cardstock panel. Set panels aside to dry. Clean palette.
  4. Round top corners of bird panel. Apply glue marker around edge and sprinkle with fragments. Layer and adhere both panels on card, with scrap of web in between.
  5. Coat two gears and metal word frame with Versamark and heat emboss with Shabby White (careful! Hot!). Adhere gears to card as desired. Sprinkle more Shabby White on card and heat from underneath to melt.
  6. Stamp sentiment on scrap of teal cardstock with blue ink. Adhere inside frame with Gem Tac. Insert ribbon through frame, wrap and tie over front of card.

  1. Drop green, yellow, and pink paints onto the Creative Palette and spread with a roller
  2. press a piece of netting (from a sack of lemons) on the palette to create pattern
  3. Press a panel of white cardstock on to the palette and then lift and set aside to dry
  4. Create a 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ green card by folding an 11″ by 4 1/4″ panel of green cardstock in half
  5. Adhere the painted background panel to a pink panel
  6. Punch along the left edge of the panel and then adhere to card
  7. Stamp sentiment on a white panel
  8. sponge yellow paint around the edges of the panel and when dry, adhere to the card
  9. Stamp the hummingbird on white cardstock and cut with the matching die
  10. Color the hummingbird and then adhere to card
