  1. Start with 4 ½” x 6 ¾” green cardstock card. Stamp Sentiment “HAPPY birthday” repeatedly with Shabby Shutters as shown. Round corners of 3 ¾” x 5 ¾” polka dot paper, and glue to card. Cut 3” x 4 ¾” white cardstock, and stamp Balloon Bear with black ink. Stamp Sentiment “HAPPY birthday” with black ink vertically on right side. Mat on 3 1/8” x 5 ¼” orange cardstock. Glue to card front as shown.
  2. Stamp Balloon Bear with black ink onto lime green, orange, magenta, royal blue cardstock. Cut out and paper piece onto white cardstock. Color around bear’s feet with Blender, IG1, IG2.
  3. Use Zip Dry to apply ribbon, bow, and buttons. Add white highlights with gel pen to balloon, hat, and party blower. Color balloon, hat, and party horn with Wink of Stella pen.

    1. Start with 5 ¾” x 5 ½” purple cardstock card. Stamp  Scroll repeatedly with Dusty Concord as shown. Cut 3” x 5 ½” lavender cardstock, and cut a “V” from one end. Stamp with dotted lines from Sentiment Stamp Set as shown, glue centered. Using 4 1/8” Square cutting die, cut white cardstock and stamp Lilac Bear with black ink.
    2. Color with colored pencils: Flowers: Lavender, light blue, dark purple, light green, dark green / Bear Light Brown, Dark Brown / Ground light gray, dark gray. Stamp with “Everyday . . .” sentiment.
    3. Using 5” Scalloped Square cutting die, cut deep purple cardstock. Next use 4 ½” Square cutting die to cut center from deep purple scalloped square to create frame. Glue to card as shown, and place 4 purple rhinestones on each corner of the frame.

  1. Create 5″x5″ card base from gray card stock
  2. Cut a 4-¾” square panel of Wood pattern paper and layer on a 4-7/8″ square of dark  green cardstock. Glue to card front.
  3. Stamp Lilac Bear on white panel.
  4. Image is colored with Copics – coloring tiny areas with tip of marker provides lots of texture to this image.

  5. Trim stamped panel close to image and layer on to purple cardstock panel 1/4″ larger than white panel size. Adhere layered panels to dark green panel 1/4″ larger.
  6. Attach layered image panel to card front.
  7. Cut small pieces of tulle and thread through holes in lace leaving ends free.
  8. Twist lace and glue around card image as shown. Trim all ends to desired length.
  9. Apply sequins to right side of image panel with Zip Dry.

  1. Create card base with white cardstock and adhere patterned paper to card.
  2. Stamp Balloon Bear with Tuxedo Black ink onto kraft cardstock and color.
  3. Stamp Balloon Bear again with Tuxedo Black ink onto white cardstock. Color balloon and cut out.
  4. Stamp sentiment onto cut out balloon with Onyx Black ink and adhere to card using adhesive dots.
  5. Splatter craft spray onto kraft panel.
  6. Adhere patterned paper onto right side of image panel and adhere image panel onto card using adhesive dots.

Embossing heat tool


1. Seal the lid and sand lightly.
2.Basecoat the entire lid with White Wash. Basecoat the checks with Jack-O-Lantern Orange, Primary Yellow, and Ebony Black. Apply one coat of matte varnish to the lid.
3. Apply the stamp to an acrylic handle, load the stamp with Ebony Black paint and stamp in the center of the lid. Refer to photo for placement.
4. Apply washes of color to the yellow areas with Primary Yellow, the orange areas with Jack-O-Lantern Orange, and bears with Slate Grey. Once dry, wash over the bears with a wash of Jack-O-Lantern Orange.
5. Shade the yellow areas with Marigold and the orange areas with Jack-O Lantern Orange. Shade grey areas with a glaze of Black. Reinforce the orange shades with Cadmium Orange.
4. Using a ruler run the VersaMarker around  the lid. Sprinkle with Starry Night Embossing Powder and heat set.
5. Add varnish to the lid without covering the embossing.
