Cardstock by Core’dinations®
Copic® Markers
Dot Embossing Folder
Zip Dry™ Paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives

Instructions:

  1. Stamp Image with momento Tuxedo Black ink pad onto quality white paper that is compatible with your coloring medium. IE: Neenah Super Smooth Classic Crest works great for alcohol markers, and Strathmore watercolor paper would work great for those of you using watercolors.
  2. Color image. Here I Started with my lightest colors flicking towards my highlight (light area). I then slowly went darker using less of each color as I got darker.
  3. I used a flicking stroke for the petals.

Tip: It is hard for beginners to get the flicking look without getting a blob at the beginning of the stroke. Try flicking the pen in the air first to get the feel. Now begin your stroke in the air as if you are still practicing but gently touch the paper. Do not start your stroke by sitting your nib on the cardstock or you will get a blog…. Start the stroke before touching the paper.
