Faber-Castell PITT pens: Pink Madder Lake, Dark Chrome Yellow, May Green, Cobalt Green


  1. Trim the white card to A5 size. Create a background using CP475 Creative Palette Rectangles and a brayer, paints, ink refils, building blocks and the stencil.
  2. Using Cactus Green ink stamp the square pattern using the stamp included with your Creative Palette.
  3. Stamp Q212 PenPattern Flutter butterflies with Emerald City ink. Colour in using PITT pens and a water brush, leaving a large block of ‘white’ space. Add shading with the chalk pencil.
  4. Using paints and bottle caps stamps several circles in white, black and gold as shown and add shading with a chalk pencil.
  5. Using Tuxedo Black ink stamp SSC1205 Journal Lines Perfectly Clear™ Stamps in the ‘white’ space. Add finishing touches to the edges with NKCRS06 Cling Marks Set.

  1. Apply white gesso to cover of journal.  Let dry.  Add Teal and Green paint to front.  Let dry.
  2. Stamp Leaf sprig onto journal in Archival black ink.  Add more green paint to top center of journal and let dry.  Stamp Inspiration quote onto green area.
  3. Add a strip of torn red washi tape to side of front cover.
  4. Stamp Jumbo Poppy onto white cs in archival black ink.  Paint with watered down red, black, and yellow acrylic paint.  Cut out and attach to journal with Fast Finish adhesive.

  1. Fold cardstock to form envelope.
  2. Slip notebook paper into envelope.
  3. Stamp House-Mouse® School Supplies on white cardstock.
  4. Color as desired.
  5. Adhere to card front.
  6. Add stripes of black cardstock across top.

Embossing Heat tool


  1. Add paint to Creative Palette making a design with brayer and other tools. Let dry.
  2. Use Blossom Beauty face template/stencil to paint an area of the creative palette with opaque, flesh-toned, acrylic paint.
  3. Ink Blossom Beauty stamp with black acrylic paint using a makeup sponge, or stamp over stenciled shape with Memento ink by Tsukineko. Allow to dry. Add shading, eye color, lip color with colored pencils.
  4. Stamp blooms and butterfly on white cardstock and color.
  5. Cut out flowers with cutting dies.
  6. Adhere flowers to journal pages and on top of the head.
  7. Stamp phrases with VersaMark ink and emboss with Detail White or Detail Black embossing powder. Use the template/mask to mask off the face and emboss the butterfly in white powder near the neck.

Copic Markers

Red Journal


  1. Stamp message and snowman on white cardstock with black ink.
  2. Color with Copic Markers.
  3. Tear cardstock along ruler placed near edges of images to create two panels of same with, but height close to each individual image.
  4. Adhere each panel to 1/4″ larger red panel with glue.
  5. Adhere words to brown panel 1/4″ larger.
  6. Stamp “winter Journal” on white banner panel.
  7. Adere to brown then red panels of same shape but slightly larger.
  8. Layer patterned papers and brown cardstock to create two more panels.
  9. Glue ribbon around bottom of largest patterned panel and wrap around back.
  10. Layer and glue all panels to journal front.
  11. Add ribbon and buttons.
