Instructions:

  1. Prepare plaque with white gesso.
  2. Glue down scraps of paper, cheesecloth and/or lace onto surface with Decou-Page and dry.
  3. Cover with a coat of white gesso and dry.
  4. Stamp face image onto tissue paper that has a piece of scrap paper underneath if ink should bleed through the tissue paper.
  5. Glue face to plaque and color with watered down paint being careful not to over wet the tissue paper and tear it with the bristles of the brush.
  6. Create locks of hair using strips of solid color fabrics and lace with a layer Dimensional Effects medium. Crumple paper or foil to use as a form for creating dimensional twirls of hair.
  7. Glue hair in place with Dimensional Effects and coat hair with a layer of white gesso. Paint if desired.
  8. Paint background carefully around face and hair in layers either letting them dry completely or rubbing away some layers while wet to show color underneath. 
  9. Add flat adhesive rhinestones around face.
  10. Tip: If you add layers of paint over rhinestones or any non-porous findings, use rubbing alcohol on a cleaning cloth to rub away paint.
  11. Glue cord, buttons and eyelets or whatever findings you choose into the hair for flair. Paint them and add flat adhesive rhinestones to cover holes on buttons.
  12. Add Metallic Lustre Medium around the outer edge of the plaque with a clean cloth.
  13. Go over any stamped lines with a black permanent detail pen to make contrast.

Instructions:

1. Cut Apricot card stock base to 6″ x 6″; cut three Apricot panels to 2″ x 4″; cut three    Cream panels 1/8″smaller. Die cut one circular cream panel and one scalloped Apricot circle. Also cut one 2″ x 6″ Apricot panel and a Cream panel 1/8″ smaller.
2. Stamp Lone Bird image three times at the top of each rectangular cream panel using Sepia Versafine ink. Sponge edges using Ranger Distress inks.  Repeat process for sentiment on cream circle. (note: on this card, the edges of the Cream circle were sponged before removing the card stock from the die)
3. Adhere cream rectangular panels to Apricot panels. Arrange in a fan pattern on card base and adhere.
4. Sponge edges of 2″ x 6″ cream panel, adhere to Apricot panel; tie ribbon in a bow around it. Adhere to card base on top of the three panels. Be sure to place bow on the extreme left side of the panel.
5. Adhere large sentiment circle to the right side of the card front using foam tape.

Instructions:

  1. Print file folder card template on white cardstock – Download Template File Here
  2. Add drops of acrylic paints to the Creative Palette and spread around with a brayer
  3. Press cut out card on to palette and then lift and set aside to dry
  4. Lay the negative stencil from the stamp set on the card and paint white paint on to the card to create an outline of the flowers and leaves
  5. Paint the image with H2o paints
  6. Randomly sprinkle embossing enamels and glitter on the card and heat  from underneath to melt
  7. Stamp sentiment with black ink on the file tab
  8. When dry, stamp the flowers and leaves with VersaMark ink and heat emboss with black embossing powder

Instructions:

  1. Weave the yarns & threads through the gaps of a florist stand, leaving one gap open to create a nest’s entrance.
  2. Spray generously with watered down acrylic to tone down the bright colours. Repeat until you are happy with the result.
  3. Wrap around with hand died cheesecloth and secure with matching threads.
  4. Stamp the Hummingbirds and PenPattern Butterflies and colour them in. Die cut the images.
  5. Add some Aged Hunter enamel to the birds’ wings with VersaMarker.
  6. Stamp the flowers, colour in with pencils and fussy cut.
  7. Start layering the images over the nest as shown, securing them with DODZ and Foam Squares.
  8. Embellish further with feathers and flowers. Add little eggs inside the nest.

Instructions:

  1. Paint the wooded bracelet with Cotton ball paint and allow to dry.
  2. Stamp piano keys image on tissue paper strip multiple times with VersaMark™ Ink and heat. Emboss with Black Detail Embossing Powder.
  3. Adhere the tissue paper to the bracelet with decoupage using paint brush.
  4. Randomly apply Silver Spark Metallic Lustre to the bracelet.
