Instructions:

  1. Start with 5 1/8” x 7 1/4” teal card. Cut 5 1/8” x 7 1/4” pale teal swirl patterned paper. Cut top left edge, and bottom right edge off at an angle(see card for example). Glue to card front as shown. Cut 4 ¾” x 6” pistachio Nut embossed cardstock. Ink edges with Pine Needles Distress Ink. Glue centered and ¼” from the top.
  2. Cut 4 1/8” x 5 ¼” white cardstock, and stamp Seahorse ride using Memento™ Black Ink. Color with Copic markers as shown. Ink edges with Pine Needles Distress Ink. Glue centered. Glue Ribbon down.
  3. Add Zip Dry™ to corners ad sprinkle with Teal Micro Glitter, Green Glass Glitter, and Shaved Ice.
  4. Die cut 1” circle from white cardstock, and ink edges with Pine Needles Distress Ink. Die cut 1 ¼” circle from teal cardstock. Glue circles together. Stamp “ Make a wish” sentiment onto white circle using Pine Needles Distress Ink. Foam tape to top right corner. Glue starfish (in order for silver starfish to match card just color with coordinating Copic marker), buttons, and bow.

Instructions:

  1. Create top fold card from teal cardstock. Die cut window with large Nested Frames die from front of card, leaving space toward the bottom.
  2. Stamp image on white cardstock panel with black Memento, and color with markers.
  3. Brush apply GemTac over mermaid where desired, and sprinkle with Micro Glitter. Adhere panel inside of card on back flap.
  4. Stamp Coral Tree on transparency cut to fit window. Brush back side with GemTac and sprinkle with Crushed Glass Glitters. Adhere inside front flap of card.
  5. Run scrap of yellow-orange cardstock through embossing machine with Dreamweaver Nautilus stencil. Brush tangerine ink over raised surface. Cut out all the way around into the curl of the design. Adhere to card, leaving curled edge popped up with foam tape.
  6. Die cut medium oval from Dreamweaver Oval set. Daub Sea Breeze ink through Nautilus design onto oval. Stamp sentiment and adhere to card as shown.

  1. Stamp repeat pen pattern on cardstock. 
  2. Ink with Distress Ink and splatter with water.
  3. Adhere to card.
  4. Color stamped Mermaid image.
  5. Trim.
  6. Embellish with Smooch.
  7. Adhere to card.
  8. Embellish card with twine

Instructions:

  1. Stamp Mermaid image on a white cardstock panel with black ink.
  2. Color skin, crown and bikini top with copic markers.
  3. Doodle her tail and hair with Fineliner Pens.
  4. Round corners of panel and adhere to patterned paper panel.
  5. Adhere panel to a blue card base.
  6. Die cut Splash Border Die and adhere to card.
  7. Stamp sentiment on white panel and adhere to a blue scallop edge die cut panel.
  8. Cut a slit at the top of the tail and adhere the sentiment to the card slipping it under the slit tail.

Instructions:

  1. Make a green card base.
  2. Layer white beneath a layer of Garden Café Patterned paper by American Crafts which was a light blue color with this great white embossed pattern. 
  3. Add Mustard Seed and Peeled Paint inks to the patterned paper. The white resists, leaving a great background for this fanciful mermaid that more closely matched the colors used.
  4. Stamp the Mermaid on whitie card stock and color with Copic Markers.
  5. Draw a base for the Mermaid with a Copic Multiliner pen.
  6. Add glitter, gold glitter glass and some of the Sage Fragments to the base. 
  7. Add lots of texture with Fine Crystal Snow, Champagne Glass Glitter and the Sage colored Fragments.
  8. For a final touch, add a few self-adhesive pearls, jute twine , jute netting, and three pearl brads.
