Instructions:

1. Stamp image on glossy paper and another on smooth card stock.
2. Cut out image on smooth card stock and color.
3. Airbrush and mist with alcohol image on glossy (or coffee spritz).
4. Using your favorite die cut, cut out glossy image.
5. Pop up colored image onto airbrushed, die cut image.
6. Cut out a stair step card.
7. Layer your favorite complimenting card stock on different sections.
8. Using the “sprinkle and heat from underneath” method add embossing enamel, fragments, glass glitter and mica to the image.
9. Wrap with twine or hemp cord.
10. Pop up image onto card base.

Instructions:

  1. Make a green card base.
  2. Layer white beneath a layer of Garden Café Patterned paper by American Crafts which was a light blue color with this great white embossed pattern. 
  3. Add Mustard Seed and Peeled Paint inks to the patterned paper. The white resists, leaving a great background for this fanciful mermaid that more closely matched the colors used.
  4. Stamp the Mermaid on whitie card stock and color with Copic Markers.
  5. Draw a base for the Mermaid with a Copic Multiliner pen.
  6. Add glitter, gold glitter glass and some of the Sage Fragments to the base. 
  7. Add lots of texture with Fine Crystal Snow, Champagne Glass Glitter and the Sage colored Fragments.
  8. For a final touch, add a few self-adhesive pearls, jute twine , jute netting, and three pearl brads.

Mermaid Kiddo by Taylor Usry

Patterned Paper: Bahama Striped Towel (Little Yellow Bicycle)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento), Wild Honey (Ranger)
Coloring Medium: Copics
Accessories: Ribbon (May Arts)
Tools: Spellbinders Nestabilites

Instructions:

  1. Cut card base from Lime Crush card stock.
  2. Cut Yam panel and patterned paper; adhere together.
  3. Die cut Yam panel and coordinating White one from card stock. Prior to removing white card stock from die, add Wild Honey ink to inner edges with a sponge.
  4. Stamp Mermaid Kiddo on White panel; color as desired with Copics. Adhere to Yam die cut panel.
  5. Adhere patterned paper panel to card base; tie ribbon around in a knot. Finish card by adding die cut image panel.
