Instructions:

  1. Emboss Raven Background in VersaMark in and Detail Black Powder on a white panel of cardstock.
  2. Use various inks to blend color all around the embossed design.
  3. Tear edges of paper by holding main image in left hand and grasping edges with the right hand then pulling towards yourself with the right hand. Your left thumb can dictate the depth and direction of the tear.
  4. Blend additional ink into exposed edges.
  5. Adhere stamped panel to a folded 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″ card base of black cardstock
  6. Add self adhesive rhinestone trim as shown so that raven looks like he’s standing on it.

Instructions:

1. Fold 11″ x 4-1/4″ Parakeet cardstock in half to form card base.
2. Stamp Candy from the Tricky Words Clear Set all over the card front with VersaMark Ink.
3. Stamp the Scraggly Cat on 3-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ white cardstock with black ink.
4. Color as desired.
5. Glue to 3-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ purple cardstock.
6. Stamp Candy across 4-1/4″ x 1-1/8″ white cardstock with black ink.
7. Color as desired.
8. Glue to 4-1/4″ x 1-3/8″ purple cardstock.
9. Glue to the bottom of the card front.
10. Adhere cat to the card front with dimensional adhesives.

Instructions:

  1. Fold 8-1/2″ X 5-1/2″ panel of black cardstock in half to form card base.
  2. Adhere 5-1/4″ X 4″ panel of orange dot cardstock on card front with paper glue.
  3. Stamp Bat Doodle on 4-1/4″ X 3″ panel of white cardstock in VersaMark ink.
  4. Sprinkle black embossing powder over wet ink, tap off excess and return to jar.
  5. Heat with embossing heat tool until embossing powder is set.
  6. Color selected areas of bat with orange marker.
  7. Color orange marker on makeup sponge and use to color edges of white panel.
  8. Adhere white panel to 4-1/2″ X 3-1/4 panel of black cardstock.
  9. Punch through both layers to place brads as shown.
  10. Adhere layered panel to card front.

Instructions:

1)   Start with 5” x 6” magenta card. Cut a 4 ½” x 5 ¾” white card stock. Stamp with VersaMark Ink, and sprinkle with black embossing powder. Shake off excess and heat set. Using blending tool, blend Seedless Preserves, Ripe Persimmon, Spiced Marmalade over embossed background. Glue centered on card.

2)   Cut 4 ½” x 5 ¾” black card stock. Tear out center to create a frame. Foam tape to card as shown. Add a combination of Rose Glitter, Gold Lux, and Gold Embossing Powder around edges of frame as shown.

3)   Stamp Danse Macabre onto white card stock using Memento Ink. Use black colored pencil to add detail to skeleton. Cut out and foam tape over original image on card front. Stamp “Fright Night” sentiment onto white card stock. Cut out in a banner shape and foam tape to lower left corner.

Embossing heat tool

Instructions:

1. Seal the lid and sand lightly.
2.Basecoat the entire lid with White Wash. Basecoat the checks with Jack-O-Lantern Orange, Primary Yellow, and Ebony Black. Apply one coat of matte varnish to the lid.
3. Apply the stamp to an acrylic handle, load the stamp with Ebony Black paint and stamp in the center of the lid. Refer to photo for placement.
4. Apply washes of color to the yellow areas with Primary Yellow, the orange areas with Jack-O-Lantern Orange, and bears with Slate Grey. Once dry, wash over the bears with a wash of Jack-O-Lantern Orange.
5. Shade the yellow areas with Marigold and the orange areas with Jack-O Lantern Orange. Shade grey areas with a glaze of Black. Reinforce the orange shades with Cadmium Orange.
4. Using a ruler run the VersaMarker around  the lid. Sprinkle with Starry Night Embossing Powder and heat set.
5. Add varnish to the lid without covering the embossing.
