House-Mouse® Birthday Bird by Amy-Hurley Purdie

  1. Start with 7 ½” x 5 1/8” grey card.
  2. Cut 7 ¼” x 4 ¾” light yellow cardstock.
  3. Stamp Birthday Block stamp using Versamark Ink, sprinkle with turquoise Spring Sparkle. Heat set.
  4. Glue centered. Glue turquoise scallop ribbon to top and bottom of light yellow cardstock.
  5. Cut 7 ½” x ¾” grey strip and glue horizontal across center of card. Add stripped ribbon.
  6. Use Design tool to cut out rounded label on Mixed Media paper.
  7. Stamp Birthday Bird and Birthday Wish sentiment “Hope your Birthday . . .” using Memento Ink.
  8. Ink edges with Pumice Stone using blending tool.
  9. Color with Copic Markers as shown. Use Design Tool to cut turquoise border, and mat your colored image.
  10. Glue centered onto card.
  11. Glue flowers, and buttons.
  12. Cut two 1” squares from black cardstock.
  13. Cut in half, and glue to card as corners.
